ABOUT
Sacha Shipway is a communications expert, building on from her career as an award-nominated broadcast journalist, presenter, producer, and writer. She has reported on the news in both Europe and Australia, for ITV in the Channel Islands and Prime 7 and NBN News in New South Wales.
She has written for Sky Sports, Red Bull and worked as a Digital Journalist at the Gold Coast and Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Before this she presented the daily sports bulletins on Made in Birmingham's, Birmingham News and produced a weekly, hour-long sports show, Sportsline. Sacha also presented The Great Birmingham Run (live) and What's On.
She has produced and reported in a documentary called Levelling the Playing Field, looking at sponsorship in women's sport.
As a former international netball player, she co-hosts award-nominated podcast, The Netball Show and has filmed and edited two seasons of Solo Sessions fitness videos with England Netball player, Sasha Corbin.

She wrote for Red Bull and Sky Sports and was an Editor at TriNorth Communications, a bespoke sports publishing agency where she was published by Sportsister, England Hockey and England Netball.
Sacha has a distinction in Broadcast Journalism (MA) from City University London and studied her undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin. She also studied for a year at Freie Universität, Berlin where she learnt conversational German.

Sacha recently worked as a Media Advisor for the NSW government, using her expert media knowledge in the form of reputation and media management.
She is currently the Director of Communications and Engagement at a national not-for-profit aimed at achieving parity in healthcare for Indigenous peoples. Sacha's work at The Australian Indigenous Doctors' Association (AIDA) includes managing a small team, their communications and national and international events.
